Ciao

A young man’s death is the unlikely catalyst for a trans-continental friendship -- and maybe more -- between his best friend and a sexy Italian Internet buddy in this poignant story of love and loss.

From director Yen Tan comes this heartfelt story of endings, beginnings and yearning. After the sudden death of his ex Mark, Jeff takes it upon himself to inform friends of his passing. While innocently searching for contacts on Mark’s computer, Jeff comes across an email from a handsome Italian named Andrea. Andrea and Mark met online and had planned to meet for the first time when Andrea was visiting stateside. Rather than cancel the trip and return to Italy, Andrea decides to come anyway and meet Jeff. Brought together by misfortune, a warm friendship develops between the two men. But as their bond deepens, the friendship seems like it might grow into something more. Adam Neal Smith and Alessandro Calza both give great performances as two men looking to make sense of a difficult situation. Concentrating on his central characters, Yen Tan displays a finely honed ability to craft a powerful drama. Ciao is a great date movie -- and a must for anyone in love with unrequited love.

Boys Life

The three gay male shorts on this video compilation include:

The Disco Years (1991, 30 min, US, Robert Lee King); A humorous coming-of-age tale set in the 1970s about a high school student who falls in love with another male teen and decides to tell mom all about it.

A Friend of Dorothy; (1994, 31 min, US, Raoul O'Connell) A NYU student finds sex increasingly preocupying his thoughts (helped by his hunky roommate). He finds solace of the anonymous kind and discovers a new friend in an icon named Judy.

Pool Days (1993, 29 min, US, Brian Sloan); Sexy and sensitive, this short follows the coming out of a 17-year-old when he takes a summer job as a lifeguard/attendent. The steam and naked flesh soon proves too much for the boy!

Boys Life 2

An outstanding four-short compilation all focusing on being young and gay.
Includes the exceptional The Dadshuttle by Tom Donaghy, a knowing and poignant drama of a young man coming out to his father while in a car;
Alkali, Iowa by Mark Christopher, a serious drama of a young rural man accepting his homosexuality (from the director of 54);
Must Be the Music by Nickolas Perry, a tale of four teenage friends out on the town in L.A.;
and the witty Nunzio's Second Cousin by Tom DeCerchio about a gay detective who gets his unusual revenge on a young gay-basher. A collection of some of the best gay shorts of the '90s.

Boys Life 3

Another collection of cutting-edge short films from Strand ReleasingThe third installment in Strand's series of gay short films contains five short films of varying quality and interest.

Majorettes in Space - A somewhat strange 6 minute animated French film that draws parallels about human sexuality and AIDS.

Hitch - Bradley Rust Gray's 18 minute film about two guys on a drive, one gay and one "straight". This edgy short film is packed with sexual tension and the two boys provide plenty of eye candy.

Inside Out - was written, directed and stars Jason Gould, son of icon Barbra Streisand and Elliot Gould. It's an autobiographical film about the son of celebrities. Although the film is certainly amateurish, it's plenty of fun and there is some juicy celebrity guessing here.

Just One Time -Lane Janger's 7 min. film about a straight man's desire to see his fiancée make love with another woman. But what she wants in exchange, is for her man to make love with another man! Starring Lane Janger and the always adorable Guilllermo Diaz (Stonewall and I Think I Do)

$30 - The last short was by Gregory Cook and written by Christopher Landon, son of Michael Landon. It's about a young gay man whose father brings him to a prostitute (Sara Gilbert) for his birthday. Instead of sex the two stars bond in this warm and terrific short film, certainly a great ending to the collection.

Boys Life 4: Four Play

The latest installment in the Boys Life series of gay short films. Featuring films directed by directors Brian Sloan (I Think I Do), Eric Mueller (World and Time Enough) and filmmakers Alan Brown and Phillip J. Bartell, this follow-up showcases terrific gay short films from the festival circuit.

L.T.R. ( US, 2002, 16 min , Phillip J Bartell) 3 starsThis mockumentary dares to explore the maturity and commitment that today's queer youth are all about. It follows two boys through the duration of a "lengthy" two-week relationship. With the current reality TV trend, this fun entry places two cute boys under the scrutiny of the camera and the camera man.

Bumping Heads ( US, 2002, 17 min , Brian Sloan) 2 1/2 starsGay film favorite Craig Chester plays a middle-aged gay man who must have been unconscious to fall for a dizzy young fox he met at a party. This was our least favorite film on the collection. As both actor Craig Chester and director Brian Sloan are both quite talented we hope they move onto less mannered work in the future.

This Car Up ( US, 2002, 16 min , Eric Mueller) 4 starsDid you ever wonder about those hot, rough-looking bike messenger boys? We found one that really delivers. A radical and really quite amazing film that uses four frames to deliver a story of glances and inner thoughts. Our favorite in the collection is original, witty and sexy.

O' Beautiful (US, 2002, 29 min , Alan Brown) 4 starsA midnight conversation between a gay teen who has just been bashed and the all-American Christian jock who offers him comfort is the focus of this smartly directed splitscreen narrative. This one's a close second. A truly terrific short film with outstanding young actors who manage to display some serious chops in only a half hour.

Boys Life 5

The fifth in Strand Releasing's powerful series of gay short films is dripping in homoerotic energy and is probably our favorite in the series.

Fishbelly White -- From the maker of The Mudge Boy comes this excellent gay short film. Beneath a railroad bridge a young rural gay man begins to his explore his gay feelings with the aid of an understanding friend. For you lovers of The Mudge Boy, Fishbelly White is an early short version of the film. Beautifully shot and acted this tale of young gay man in lust with another is outstanding. And for fans of tighty-whities, the railroad bridge scene is a ten.

Time Off -- Eytan Fox's (Yossi & Jagger, Walk on Water) first film, Time Off, a 45-minute drama about sexual identity in the Israeli army, won the “Movie Of the Year Award” (1990) at the Israeli Film Institute, First Prize in Munich’s International Student Film Festival, and was shown on TV in Europe and in the U.S. The only film in the pack with a pedigree is also the driest and least interesting. While this film is a letdown and pretty boring, don't let it ruin your experience as the other three films are so strong.

Dare -- High school senior Ben secretly lusts after bad boy classmate Johnny. After Ben gives Johnny a ride home one night, the boys end up in Johnny’s swimming pool and have an encounter that breaks the rules and blows Ben’s mind. Filmed with elegance and told with eclan, Dare is a short film that needs to be made into a feature. The leads are hot, their acting chops impeccable and perfectly cast. Dare is our favorite film in the collection, we can't wait to see it again.

Late Summer -- A photographer remembers that special summer that he spent with his somewhat older cousin, the feelings that were awakened, and the unexpected turn of events behind his "best" photo. Also shot gorgeously in the Boston area, this short film is the story of a boy's sexual awakening that's so powerful it wrenches in pain. The actor playing Josh looks like a young Mark Wahlberg and as a special bonus, he appears totally naked in the swimming home scene.

Boys Life 6

Strand Releasing has compiled four of the hottest gay men's shorts from the film festival circuit for the sixth collection in this superlative series.

Doorman -- (17 min) Ethereal and emmiting a sheen of loneliness, Etienne Kallos' film tells a story of a Latino doorman who is seduced by a new tenant, a rich, emotionally-damaged white boy. Their affair is brief, tumultuous and doesn't end well. Emotionally wrenching with few words said, this short film blew us away with its powerful images and characters.
Bugcrush -- (36 min) The centerpiece of the collection, Carter Smith's film is a powerful amalgam of a tale of gay sexual obsession/seduction and a horror thriller like you've never seen before. An adorable red-haired geeky gay teen falls head-over-heels obsessed with a dark mysterious tough boy. The suspense builds as the tough boy takes his new friend to his dark home deep in the woods. With realistic dialogue and unforced acting, the filmmaker takes us to some wholly unexpected places.
Davy & Stu -- (14 min) Filmmaker Soman Chainani's lyrical film is like a sweet song we don't want to ever end. Two boys meet in a dark Scotland bog for a nightly erotic ritual in this richly shot, moody adaptation of Anton Dudley’s award-winning play.
Heartland -- (13 min) HG, 21, lives a happy and openly gay life in New York. He must return to Iowa to help his alcoholic father save the family farm. He no longer feels he is a member of his family tribe but digs into the work along side his father and a hired man, Ryan, who has his own set of problems. After HG’s father becomes ill, the two young men are forced to work together, and find that they have more in common than they would have thought. From filmmaker Mark Christopher (54).

The Journey of Jared Price

19-year-old Jared Price (Corey Spears) leaves the stability of his home in Georgia to start a new life in Southern California. With only a bag on his back anda few hundred dollars in his pockets, he sets out on an emotional journey of self-realization and sexual discovery. With little privacy and a prostitute for a roommate, Jared stumbles through the tight quarters of a Hollywood youth hostel. He befriends his young neighbor, Robert, whom Jared quickly discovers is eager to pursue more than merely a platonic friendship. Jared gains employment as a personal caretaker for Mrs. Haines, a wealthy, older blind woman. He suddenly falls into a deceptive relationship with her affluent, older son Matthew (Steve Tyler). When the relationship becomes personally destructive, Jared is faced, once again, with the difficult decision - whether or not to abandon his stability and risk his heart.

3 REASONS TO DOWNOAD THIS FILM

The first film from gay writer Dustin Lance Black (Milk)
Probably one of the best softcore porn films made.
Hey, it's not all naked men here -- there's a compelling story.

The familiar story of a young country boy who moves to the city to sow his wild oats is given a fresh spin in this well acted erotic drama. Blond and blue-eyed 20-year old Jared (Spears) arrives in LA fresh from Georgia and looking for adventure. He moves into a youth hostel and meets sexy gay boy Robert (Jacobson). Robert falls for Jared, but Jared has not yet come to terms with his emerging homosexuality. Jared gets a job caring for a lonely blind woman, who needs in-house care. Her 35 year-old son Matthew (Tyler) shows up at the house and he becomes smitten with Jared. They hit it off and a hot sexual affair commences. Matthew is two-timing his lover and has a severe case of emotional blockage. There's lots of romance and hot sex in this unusual film, a cross between drama and erotica.

Were the World Mine

This has to be one of my MOST favorite gay-themed movies. Was NEVER a Shakespeare afficianado, but this movie has changed my view. The below review does not do justice to this movie, and if you appreciate my opinion, this is one that you'll download to watch again and again, DK

Cast: Tanner Cohen, Wendy Robie, Judy McLane, Nathaniel David Becker, Zelda Williams, Christian Stolte, Ricky Goldman

Infused with homoerotic energy, Thomas Gustafson's Were the World Mine literally sings with lust and Shakespeare with total abandon and creativity. In this remarkable musical fantasy, an inspired English teacher casts her summer production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" with magic in mind.

3 REASONS TO DOWNLOAD THIS FILM
Certainly one of the best DVD releases of 2009!
The boys are hot, the romance sensuous and the music divine.
This gay essential musical will leave you humming and craving another watching.

Timothy (Tanner Cohen) is a gay boy stranded in a private boys school obsessed with rugby. There’s just one thing about rugby he's obsessed with, the ĂĽber-hot Jonathan (Nathaniel David Becker). Both boys are students in Ms. Tebbit's (Wendy Robie, who "Twin Peaks" fans will recognize as "Nadine") English class. She's a teacher with a mission: to excite her students with the literature of the ages. When she decides to cast these two boys as the romantic leads in her production of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and to cast boys in girl's roles, you know she’s just as mischievous as Puck himself. The rugby Coach and townspeople are up in arms, and Timothy sends himself off into musical gay fantasies that look as if they're designed by Pierre et Gilles. But Timothy just can't get the language right and Ms. Tebbit advises the boy to let the words work their magic. They do just that as Timothy finds in the script the recipe for a potion to make people gay! One spritz from Timothy's magic pansy and the person goes totally queer. The entire town (filled with Christian fundamentalists) is whipped into frenzy as the glorious production night approaches. This deliciously surreal confection of a film is steered by first-time co-writer/director Thomas Gustafson, whose 2003 short Fairies inspired this bit of magic. The musical numbers are over-the-top, production values first-rate and the acting is as flawlessly beautiful as the boys. We know the Bard would appreciate this totally queer take on his immortal tale of mayhem, "If we shadows have offended, think but this, and all is mended.

Soulmaid

Spirituality, gay romance and complete whimsy inhabit this sweet nutty confection of a film about a gay man who cleans houses in his undies and a spirit named Glintentica.

3 REASONS TO DOWNLOAD THIS MOVIE
A very cute cast!
Spirituality collides with gay romance
A true discovery!!!

Okay. Yes. It's crazy. But this nutty, sweet film is captivating, fun, romantic and actually has something to say. Made on a shoestring budget with an unknown cast, its charms crept up on me and left me with a smile.
Moses cleans houses in his underwear for a living. He practices yoga, meditates and has images of Hindu gods and goddeses on his walls. He's a sweetie – sexy, smart and totally peculiar (I love that). He's got just one problem - temporal lobe epilepsy. Moses gets seizures where he has religious visions. The first one he gets is that of a sexy guy named David who will be the love of his life. They can't have sex until he's ready - and he's not yet. The second vision is much more complex. It's from a spirit called Glintentica who will come for a visit on June 2, 2006. Moses must get ready. Somehow there's some art made from cleaning sponges, but don't worry, it will all make sense (trust me). Back down on earth, Moses is cleaning a house when a PC repairman arrives. It's David. Moses kisses him, full on, and David runs away horrified. He's never kissed a boy before but he waits outside for Moses. The completely adorable David gets head-over-heals in love with Moses, but the visions are getting worse as June 6 approaches. There's wacky disco music and magical sponges. It gets even more insane, but somehow it all works.
None of this review might make sense, but somehow this movie does make things clear. It's an offbeat recommendation sure, but like Anne Heche said "Call Me Crazy."

The Velocity of Gary

An intriguing cast helps but can not save this bisexual urban drama filmed in the tradition of the Andy Warhol/Paul Morrissey collaborations. The story attempts to be a poignant yet hard-edged love fable which set among the hustlers, trannies and homeless of New York City. It tells the tale of the strained love triangle between a charismatic bisexual, a male prostitute and a tempestuous Latina.
The sultry but annoyingly whiny Salma Hayek (Desperado, 54, Wild Wild West) stars as Mary Carmen, a hot-tempered beauty desperately in love with Valentino (Vincent D'Onofrio of Full Metal Jacket and The Newton Boys), a small time porn actor with big time attitude. But things change when Gary (Thomas Jane), a sensitive rookie male prostitute also falls in love with the magnetic, longhaired Valentino. The two men's initial meeting on the streets of a seedy New York (actually filmed in L.A.) is a sexually charged affair culminating in a hungry, passionate kiss. Mary Carmen and Gary take a jealous dislike for each other as they battle for Valentino’s affections. But when Valentino become ill with AIDS, the two, in a fight to be his caretaker, are forced to look at themselves less as rivals and more as family.
Emotionally charged but the characters never feel real or at all sympathetic. Let them wallow in their fucked up sexual situations! The film features an especially memorable character in Kid Joey (Chad Lindberg) a deaf transgendered person who falls in love with Gary but is taken out of the plot way too early.

Speed of Life

An outstanding indie about a tender father/son relationship begins with a full-frontal nude scene with the amazingly buff and nicely hung Scott Caan.

This tender drama of the love between a father and his son begins with a nude scene you won't soon forget. The extraordinarily hunky Drew (Scott Caan) is bathing his handicapped father (Leo Burmester), known only as dad, in an open shower stall. We soon learn that Drew goes to college, repairs motorcycles and takes care of his severely disabled father -- just a bit too much for a twenty-year-old guy. One night he is picked up by Sarah (Mia Kirschner) a wild, rich girl who gets him involved in drugs and kinky sex games. Drew soon becomes overwhelmed by the demands of his father and his own life. He loses his job, sells drugs to make money and then drops out of school.
Superior acting by all three leads, outstanding writing and crisp direction make this an indie you should check out.

2 x 4

This story of a seemingly heterosexual construction worker in search for his gay identity in the clubs at night is a sexy and intelligent portrait of a gay man coming to terms with himself.

This fascinating study of an unabashedly bisexual Irishman stars director Smallhorne as Johnny Maher, Dubliner-cum-New Yorker who labors by day as foreman for his Uncle Trump's (the late Chris O'Neill) all-Irish immigrant construction company. By day, the wiry and chiseled Johnny looks every bit the tough non-union New York laborer, but by night he is seen hitting first the macho Irish bars and latter, the gay clubs, over indulging in drugs, alcohol and anonymous sex. While attached to his loving American girlfriend, Johnny’s attraction to men leads him on nocturnal sexual trysts including one with Christian, a sweet but needy junkie hustler (Bradley Fitts). Meanwhile, something's definitely wrong. Plagued by uneasy dreams and bearing scars on his back, something from Johnny's past is causing a slow but certain erosion, and only his also-troubled Uncle Trump seems to know the root of his problems.
Gorgeously shot by Leaving Las Vegas's Declan Quinn, this involving film is rich with complexity and dramatic tension. The scads of Irish construction workers often make you forget the setting is Manhattan, which is a perfect metaphor for Johnny's complete disorientation and ambiguity. An original, penetrating look at a troubled, far from stereotypical man haunted by sexual secrets.

That Man: Peter Berlin

Welcome to the sexy world of gay porn star and icon Peter Berlin in a fascinatingly erotic new documentary.

Take a step back into San Francisco 1974 and you'll be able to conjure images of the legendary Peter Berlin. Sex-style just oozed from this stud in skin-tight white pants, leather accoutrements and smooth, shoulder-length blonde hair. After just two remarkable 16mm porn films in 1974 (That Boy and Nights in Black Leather) he vanished from the scene. Do you ever wonder what happened to the "Greta Garbo" of porn? Director Jim Tushinksi interviewed other surviving gay '70s icons about Peter Berlin and then caught up with the legend himself in his San Francisco apartment giving us a glimpse into a very private and fascinating life. Combining interviews, juicy film clips and lots of Peter Berlin photography we're let in on one of the most compelling gay personal histories we've seen.
That Man is a portrait of the creation of an icon and also the man behind the myth. Armin was born into an aristocratic German family in post-war Berlin. Early on, Armin discovered his personal sexual power and he used it. He ended up, like many gay men in the early '70s, in San Francisco. There Armin adopted the persona of Peter Berlin and began his work as photographer, filmmaker, and model. In his 20s, he made the porn films which led to stardom and encounters with Andy Warhol, Robert Mapplethorpe, Sal Mineo, and many others. Eventually, Armin turned his life inward, saw most of his friends die, survived the AIDS epidemic, and now lives quietly.
Berlin's take on male sexuality was very different from the popular clone-look. No flannel shirts for Peter Berlin, he preferred suggestive, skin-tight clothing. Peter served as his own photographer, model, and fashion designer -- he even made his own clothes. He was the basis for several Tom of Finland drawings and ended up creating a gay '70's icon that persists to this day.
Director Jim Tushinki has focused on giving us a rare glimpse into a private man that's spiced with terrific interviews with filmmaker John Waters, porn star Jack Wrangler, author Armistead Maupin, filmmaker Wakefield Poole -- all '70s icons as well! Compelling, very sexy and filled with juicy gossip, That Man is a lively documentary about a man we've wanted to learn about for a long time -- it was well worth the wait.

Testosterone

Cast: David Sutcliffe, Antonio Sabato, Jr., Sonia Braga, Celina Font, Jennifer Coolidge
Mysteriously and suddenly abandoned by the love of his life, an obsessed graphic novelist is determined to track him down in this fast-paced, impressively-acted romantic thriller from David Moreton (Edge of Seventeen). Hold on to your remote, the film features fleeting full-frontal nudity from Calvin Klein underwear model Antonio Sabato, Jr.

A successful comic book (or as he prefers, graphic novel) writer and illustrator, Dean (David Sutcliffe) falls into a creative funk after his Argentinean lover, Pablo (Antonio Sabato, Jr.), disappears after going to the store for cigarettes. With a scruffy stubble, piercing eyes and a flippant, "fuck all" attitude, the obsessive Dean decides to venture down to Buenos Aires in hopes of confronting his ex and hopefully bringing him back to his senses and Dean's bed. It proves to be more difficult than planned, as a confusing veil of secrecy, lies and intrigue confront him. It doesn't help that he can't speak Spanish (he can barely say gracias) or that Pablo's mother (Sonia Braga in a scene-stealing role) is an icy bitch who hates him or that the one person he trusts and who may hold answers, Sofia (Celina Font), proves to be just as duplicitous as the others. Even Marcos (Leonardo Brzezicki), Pablo's sex-crazed boyhood friend, is holding out.
Lost in the sprawling city, Sean's search soon involves the police, more than a few guns, loads of sex, a dead body or two and an unanticipated reunion. Sutcliffe is impressive as "a fag with a gun who needs a chainsaw" — he's masculine, 100% homo and single-mindedly determined to get back his love. A refreshing gay tale told with humor, intrigue, torrid sexual excitement: a hardened gay romance for the times.

Dorian Blues

Cast: Michael McMillan, Lea Coco, Steven Charles Fletcher, Mo Quigley

A refreshing and witty reinvention of the coming-of-age comedy, Dorian Blues is a bright story about a small-town young man who realizes why he’s such a misfit – he’s gay. Experiencing one comical dilemma after another, our hero moves to New York in search of love.

3 REASONS TO DOWNLOAD THIS FILM

Juggling wry comedy and wrenching family drama, Dorian Blues is a winner

Coming-of-age was never this funny before

Michael McMillan turns in a memorable performance in this, his debut, film.

A delightful surprise for us and audiences, is Dorian Blues, a witty, knowing, and immensely entertaining coming-of-age tale from writer-director Tennyson Bardwell. Dorian (Michael McMillian) is a misfit teen living in a small upstate New York town with his conservative father (Steven C. Fletcher), Stepford Wives-like mother (Mo Quigley) and football hero brother (Lea Coco). Adolescence is proving a pain for the always-thinking Dorian. He’s an outcast and the butt of classmates’ fag jokes at high school. He’s different and understands why when he reaches the conclusion that he’s a “stereotypical gay.” He soon announces this discovery to his boozing social worker, his less-than-understanding parish priest, his brother and, against his brother's warnings, eventually his homophobic, Nixon-loving dad. Before dad can throw him out of the house, he’s off to NYU where our hero encounters a new world of cafes, sophisticates and handsome men, but this life proves just as frustrating and treacherous as back home. From the hysterical dinner table political discussions to the serious family moments and less-than-homo-heaven life in college, the writing and acting is directly from the heart and rings true. Prepare to laugh out loud and maybe even think a tad at this first-rate gay comedy

Cowboy Junction

Cast: Matt Austin, James Michael Bobby, Gregory Christian, Greg Fitzpatrick, Bryan Hixson, Elyse Mirto
One of the more unusual gay films, Cowboy Junction offers a surreptitious romance, steamy sex, one sexually-frustrated wife, a doe-eyed gay cowboy and a horny, married, gay man who wants it all. The results? A turbulent, emotion-and-sex-packed ride through suburbia which makes the women of “Desperate Housewives” look like god-fearing virgins in comparison. A chiseled, but tender gay cowboy (James Bobby) is picked up by a married man in an almost surreal gay pick-up area in the parched desert. After their passionate quickie, the husband (Gregory Christian) brings the hunk home, telling his young wife (Elyse Mirto) that he is the new handyman who will live in the back garage. Lies are built on lies, as the two men begin an affair under the increasingly suspicious wife’s nose. And making matters worse, the sexually frustrated wife has her own plans for the often shirtless and sweaty cowboy. How will this turn out? Only bad, my fellow film lovers, only bad. With the pent-up secrets and sexuality of a Tennessee Williams play, this pot-boiler just might boil over.

24th Day

Writer/director Tony Piccirillo has adapted his own stage play for film in this somewhat static, but compelling gay film. The film opens with Dan (James Marsden, hunk of X Men movies) picking up Tom, Scott Speedman from the WB series "Felicity,"at a bar. Their easy banter turns uncomfortable when Tom pulls away from the kiss. (BTW -- they never kiss, and shirts/pants stay on during the whole film.) Tom confesses that he's been with only one man before -- Dan says he's not a slut, but he's had experience. Dan tells Tom he's always safe, and that he's had anal sex only seven times in his life. These are all important conversational elements to remember as the film progresses. But Dan is flirtatious and quite comfortable in his sexuality -- there's something wrong with Tom, but we can't quite put our finger on it. When things go south, Dan tries to take off, but the door is locked and Dan isn't going anywhere soon.
While there are only two major characters, there are flashbacks which bring some life to the dingy apartment the film was shot in. Just these two pieces of eye candy playing queer characters make 24th Day worth watching, but this is a compelling thriller as well. Not a big budget, special effects or sex -- just two fine actors in a room telling us a story.

Daydream Obsession

Cast: Joseph Dain, Christopher Michaels, Danny Dallas, Julian Coca, Will Thomas, Justin Hasan

Clayton (Dain) is a closeted gay man just coming to terms with his sexuality in this new nudity-packed soft-core erotic drama. He shares a house with seven other guys -- all straight -- all feeding his personal sexual madness which builds to a frenzy in this well-made offering. Clayton's object of lust is his straight best buddy Brian (Michaels) who he fantasizes about night and day. Clayton gets so horny he starts a video diary of his coming out -- but really he babbles about having sex with Brian. Rather than ruin his friendship he calls for a hustler. While waiting he goes into the bathroom and we are treated with a slow shower scrub by one of his massively muscled housemates. This guy must live at this gym -- and he loves to scrub himself real clean and real slowly. The boys leave for an evening at the "tittie bar" and Raymond (Coca) the hustler comes over to the house. He does an elaborate strip-tease -- but just as the strip tease is ending, the boys arrive at the house, forcing the hustler out the back way and no sex yet for poor Clayton.
The next day Clayton is sitting at the pool with his housemates watching them swim -- and imagining them naked. He pulls on his cock under his shorts until it's real hard. When the boys catch him pulling at his meat, he runs indoors embarrassed. Inside he watches his housemates wrestle on the floor and again his mind takes their clothes off -- this time for an intense pillow fight/wrestle. He just can't get his mind off having sex with his housemates! That's when he decides to kidnap Brian and confess his love. Will they end up in each other's arms? Or does it go real wrong?
With lots of nudity, humor, drama and some decent acting Daydream Obsession is a first-rate piece of soft-core erotica. The plot may not be too strong, but the hunks make up for any plot deficiency in their deliciousness-quotient.

Between Something & Nothing

A cute art student does the hustle to pay his pricey tuition and ends up learning some gritty life lessons in the process.

3 Reasons to download this film:
Fans of
Todd Verow (Anonymous, Vacationland) will need this new chapter of his story.
College kid learns the ropes in the hustling business to pay his tuition.
And then he falls in love with the hustler, who has a heart of stone

With a healthy dose of autobiography, here is prolific director Todd Verow's (Vacationland) latest sexy outing. Cute, small-town Joe (Tim Swain) goes off to study at a prestigious New England arts college. He makes fast friends with freewheeling Jennifer (Julia Frey), who also struggles with the high cost of living, and beyond work-study employment they resort to less orthodox methods of paying the bills, including petty larceny. Enter Ramon (Gil Bar-Sera), an enigmatic, punky hustler who inspires Joe to give prostitution a whirl -- and sparks a crush while he’s at it.
Sex, drugs, rich kids, music, sketching, nude models and queer discovery -- this is one true art school confidential. In crafting Between Something & Nothing, Verow drew from his own experiences as student -- and yes, rent boy -- at Rhode Island School of Design.

Gigasize and 'Split' Movies

All movies posted in Sendspace and Rapidshare will have the same links, so you can download from either and get the same links.

With that in mind, some of you are not aware that these movies have been split in order to be uploaded, which means that the movies must be JOINED in order to view the entire movie. Here's the link that you'll need in order to download the 'joiner' HJ Split.
http://www.freebytesoftware.com/download/hjsplit.zip The process of joining is fairly simple, load HJ Split, select from first screen 'Join' then a new window will appear where you'll select the button 'input file' enter file no .oo1, press the start button, and HJ Split will do the rest. Once the movie is joined, you will have the whole movie to enjoy. The split files can be deleted at this point. You will no longer need them. A word of caution. YOU MUST HAVE ALL FILES in order to join a complete movie. Any questions, please email the email address listed below.

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN POSTING, ALL FILES ARE INTERCHANGEABLE

Hi,

If you're reading this, you've found this blog by way of Rubbing1Off.blogspot.com. This blog will only contain Gay Themed movies.

Postings of Get Real, 2 Minutes Later, Regarding Billy, and Rock Haven, now have Sendspace and Rapidshare links.

Have all episodes of True Blood that have been aired. As new episodes are aired, they will be added. (True Blood is current to 08-09-09 episode) Plus, have the new 'Hung' Series to post as well. HOT Thomas Jane as a Gigalo! (Hung is current to 08-09-09 episode)

Even though I usually DON'T take requests, I do like to know what you guys find interesting and would like to see posted here. BUT!!!! Please, realize, an average movie TAKES 6 TO 8 HOURS TO UPLOAD! DON'T EVEN THINK OF REQUESTING A TV SERIES! IT COULD BE MONTHS BEFORE I POST ANOTHER MOVIE.

For those of you who want television series, here's the best blog on the web to find what you're looking for! http://mostlyseries.blogspot.com/ If you can't find it here, it's not available!

If you find Gigasize links posted as being 'no longer active' please be sure to contact me at Dakota.Montana.Utah@gmail.com, and I'll do my best to re-upload the movie in RS and SS. Enjoy!

Thanks
