The Last Picture Show


Bogdanovich's brilliant adaptation of Larry McMurtry's novel is regarded as one of the definitive coming-of-age sagas: not only in its depiction of the "end of innocence" for its characters, but for an entire way of life. Set in a one-horse town in 1950s Texas, the film stars Bottoms and Bridges as heatstruck teens sweltering in the dustbowl of their own lives. Leachman and Johnson won Oscars for their gutsy portrayals. Bogdanovich's eye for the period and place paints a picture of a ghost town more chilling than any horror movie.

Gigasize and 'Split' Movies

All movies posted in Sendspace and Rapidshare will have the same links, so you can download from either and get the same links.

With that in mind, some of you are not aware that these movies have been split in order to be uploaded, which means that the movies must be JOINED in order to view the entire movie. Here's the link that you'll need in order to download the 'joiner' HJ Split.
http://www.freebytesoftware.com/download/hjsplit.zip The process of joining is fairly simple, load HJ Split, select from first screen 'Join' then a new window will appear where you'll select the button 'input file' enter file no .oo1, press the start button, and HJ Split will do the rest. Once the movie is joined, you will have the whole movie to enjoy. The split files can be deleted at this point. You will no longer need them. A word of caution. YOU MUST HAVE ALL FILES in order to join a complete movie. Any questions, please email the email address listed below.

Even though I usually DON'T take requests, I do like to know what you guys find interesting and would like to see posted here. BUT!!!! Please, realize, an average movie TAKES 6 TO 8 HOURS TO UPLOAD! DON'T EVEN THINK OF REQUESTING A TV SERIES! IT COULD BE MONTHS BEFORE I POST ANOTHER MOVIE.
