Welcome to my blog! Most of you have found this blog either from Rubbing1Off, or Needed Relief. ONLY movies that have some type of Gay theme will be posted here, NO PORN! Plans are to eventually replace ALL Gigasize files with RS or SS. If you find a link that is dead, please contact me at WeOrGj@gmail.com. Will do my best for requests, as long as the requested movie is Gay Themed. Thanks, DK

Mulligans

A father’s lust for his son’s best friend is the subject of this witty indie written by and starring Charlie David ("Dante's Cove" and A Four Letter Word).
Charlie David (“Dante’s Cove”) is taking the controls of his career as the star and writer of this gay update of The Graduate. Tyler (Derek Baynham) brings his college buddy Chase (Charlie David) home for the summer to hang out with his surprisingly hot dad, Nathan (Dan Payne), and mom, Stacey (Thea Gill, “Queer as Folk”). They have the picture-perfect, All-American life going on here in quaint Prospect Lake. The father-son duo golf with regularity, there’s always a family barbeque and the conversation is straight out of “Leave It to Beaver.” While Chase knows he’s gay, he has never come out to his friend, who tries in vain to set him up with girls. But when Chase comes out to his summer family, the cracks in the family dynamic start to show. Nathan looks with a lusty new eye to his son’s best friend, and when he and Chase are left alone for the night, their mutual passion bubbles to the surface, and clothes are quickly shed. The drama hits a peak as Tyler and Stacey return early and discover the shocking secret about this young dad. Can Nathan remain true to himself and keep his family together?
Sparkling dialogue, a fast pace and lots of screen time for the ridiculously gorgeous Charlie David keep this indie compelling throughout.

The Sex Movie

Unwinding in a loft, porn stage crew workers share their deepest desires in this talk-heavy feature. Their discussion turns to sex and sexuality and claws are pulled are pulled back. Rafe (Mike Fallon) is a sex-happy gay man; J.D. (Matthew Tyler) is a straight guy with no secret homo desires; Heidi (Eleese Longino) is a soft butch dyke; and Kris (Michelle Mosley) is a manipulative bi girl, who wants to bed the other three! The sexual tension builds to a boiling point and deep secrets are revealed. One is recovering from a broken heart, another from unrequited love and a third has a secret! Each is about to cross their own boundaries.

Clay Farmers

This odd tale of man-boy friendship and homophobia is set in a small farming community where two strapping, often shirtless young men tend a farm. After the two befriend and comfort a young boy who was physically abused by his father, the father has no trouble stirring up homophobic hatred against them in the community. The film leaves open the question of their sexuality by cryptically remarking "Homophobia runs deep, it ruins friendships." Note: On the home video there is an added short: My First Suit (1985, 29 min, New Zealand, Stewart Main); A funny and evocative short about a shy teen whose fantasies involve masculine, muscular men and the confused beginnings of his gay sexuality.

Green Plaid Shirt

Cast: Gregory Phelan, Kevin Spirtas, Richard Israel, Jonathan Klein, Russell Scott Lewis

An endearing and sincere drama that chronicles the ten-year life of a gay relationship. Back in 1978, everything seemed possible for several young men. For Philip and Guy, there was the thrill and exhilaration of first love. For their friends Devon, Jerry and Todd, life was still an open book with so many pages yet to be filled. But ten years later, all are gone except for Philip who is left alone, wondering what the hell happened. He tries to make sense of the joys and the sorrows as well as to chart a new direction for the future. Writer/director Natale's feature film debut depicts the lives of five friends in conflict with themselves and each other yet ultimately, the insightful tale is about love and survival. The title is drawn from events around the sale of a shirt which brought each of them together. "A totally refreshing and romantic (even sexy) drama, true to the crises many have endured without being pedantic, mature without losing its vitality. A powerful piece about the force that tear people apart and ultimately keeps them together.

Forgiving the Franklins

A family of religious conservatives from North Carolina get into a near fatal car crash on their way to church which leaves the daughter with a leg injury and the mother, the father and the son in a collective coma where they meet Jesus who removes their shame.
When they awaken, they are free of all of their sexual repression and inhibitions which leads to the mother and father rediscovering their sex life and their hunky football playing son realizing that he's gay and really coming to terms with it in the locker room. Of course, the unenlightened daughter and the rest of their repressed community aren't exactly thrilled with their newfound sexual liberation which leads to many conflicts and a shocking conclusion.
Rated R for strong sexual content including a scene of aberrant intimacy, graphic nudity, frank dialogue and some language.

Bedrooms & Hallways

13 FILES TOTAL, ALL OF EQUAL SIZE, RS COMPLETE, SS STILL UPLOADING

Cast: Kevin McKidd, Tom Hollander, Hugo Weaving, James Purefoy, Simon Callow, Jennifer Ehle

Leo and Darren are two gay roomates living in London - each single and pursuing romantic happiness. While Darren strikes up a relationship with real estate agent and sex-fiend Jeremy, Leo joins a New Age men's therapy group and promptly develops a crush on fellow member Brendan - who is recently separated from longtime girlfriend Sally.
Director Rose Troche (Go Fish, The Safety of Objects) and a cast of talented actors - including Kevin McKidd (Trainspotting, Nicholas Nickleby), Tom Hollander (Cambridge Spies, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End) Simon Callow (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Shakespeare in Love), Jennifer Ehle (Pride and Prejudice, Wilde), James Purefoy (Mansfield Park, Vanity Fair) and Hugo Weaving (The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, The Matrix) - have created a refreshing and thoroughly charming film that examines the trials and tribulations of lust and love.

Rose Troche's long-awaited follow-up to Go Fish is a complete departure from her lesbian milestone: a hilarious comedy set in London about the tangled love affairs of a gay man. Failed romantic Leo (Trainspotting's Kevin McKidd) is just hitting thirty. His kitschy roommate Darren (Tom Hollander) only reminds him of what he's missing, merrily touting Darren’s frequent, illicit meetings with a lusty real estate agent (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert's Hugo Weaving). So with nothing to lose, Leo joins a men's group to bond with his fellow males and get his mind off romance. However, the latter notion didn't account for sexy straight Irishman Brendan (James Purefoy). But wait…is Brendan straight? For that matter, is Leo? And life is never as black and white as it seems, especially after Leo and his group go on a drum-thumping, chest-banging camping retreat where a snarl of love triangles and jealousy explodes. Colorful production design, glossy production values, and an energetic ensemble cast (including Simon Callow and Jennifer Ehle) contribute to the lighthearted proceedings, of which Hollander takes the cake. Darren's snippy dialogue and misinformed sexual antics are a true highlight. Troche rattles the straight/gay/bi boundary lines and shake the sexual tree. The result is a knee-slapping spoof of gay men, the New Age movement and witty send-up at the rigid notion of sexuality.

Pedro

Alex Loynaz stars as earnest Real World cast-member Pedro Zamora in this intimate biopic tracing the HIV-positive immigrant's rise from humble roots to becoming one of the most instantly recognizable HIV/AIDS activists in the United States as a result of his high profile role on MTV's pioneering reality... television series. In 1992, The Real World made it's debut on MTV, forever altering the definition of the term "celebrity," and providing a sympathetic face to the growing AIDS crisis for the millions of Americans who had yet to meet someone suffering from the devastating autoimmune disorder. Born the youngest child in a close-knit Cuban family, Zamora arrived in the United States as part of the 1980 Mariel boatlift. His mother died when he was just thirteen, the pain of the loss prompting the already promising student to hit the books even harder. Three short years and numerous bouts of unprotected sex later, Zamora discovered that he was HIV-positive after donating blood to the Red Cross. It was a crushing blow to the ambitious young student, though one that would unexpectedly give his life new meaning as well. As an activist and educator, Zamora longed to get his message to as many people as possible - and what better medium to do so than television? The producers were quick to recognize Zamora's eagerness to participate in the Real World as well as his openness when it came to discussing his illness, and quickly invited him to join the cast. Not many folks have the opportunity to shine in the spotlight, though Zamora made the most of his fifteen minutes of fame by using it to enlighten and inform those who were still ignorant to the threat posed by the increasingly indiscriminate disease that was once thought only to affect only homosexuals

Gaining fame in the third season of MTV's "The Real World" in 1994, Pedro Zamora put a face on the growing crisis of AIDS. Born in Cuba in 1972, Zamora came to the United States in 1980, and at age 16 discovered he was HIV positive. Determined to educate the public about the disease, he discussed his life openly on the show. This moving drama tells the story of this courageous activist, who died the day after the show's season finale aired in 1994 at 22 years young.
