Noah's Arc: Jumping the Broom

The popular Logo series about the lives and loves of four gay African American men gets the feature film treatment with this road movie that finds longtime friends Noah, Alex, Ricky, and Chance traveling to Martha's Vineyard with their significant others for a weekend wedding retreat. Aspiring Los Angeles screenwriter Noah (Darryl Stephens) and his partner Wade (Jensen Atwood) are about to be married in an intimate Martha's Vineyard ceremony, and to celebrate in style Noah has invited Alex (Rodney Chester), Ricky (Christian Vincent) and Chance (Douglas Spearman) to join the couple on a cross-country road trip from California to Massachusetts. But the trip is far from the relaxing getaway that Noah had hoped for, because along the way secrets are revealed, hearts are bruised, and friendships are put to the ultimate test. Not only is Chance and Eddie beginning to feel the urge to scratch their seven year itch, but playboy Ricky has a secret that's sure to rock everyone's world, and the appearance of a surprise visitor quickly threatens to overshadow the main event. Add a closeted rapper and a high-maintenance studio executive into the mix, and you've got the recipe for an endearing romantic comedy that's as poignant as it is hilarious.

Adam & Steve

Queer bon vivant Craig Chester makes his directorial debut with this raucous and candy-colored romantic comedy about the pitfalls of falling in love in New York City. Flashback to 1987 at the Limelight disco, where shoulder pads and acid-washed jeans reign supreme. Goth guy Adam (Chester) with his obese gal pal Rhonda (a hilarious Parker Posey) meet Steve (Malcolm Gets), a glam rock dancer. Instantly attracted to each other, Adam takes Steve home but after several bumps of coke laced with baby laxatives, their date comes to a comically explosive end.
Fast forward to 2005 and as mischievous fate would have it, Adam and Steve encounter each other again, blissfully unaware that they had previously met. (The evolution of fashion can do wonders!) As the two men begin courting each other with the support of the newly svelte Rhonda and Steve's straight roommate (Chris Kattan of "Saturday Night Live") little clues begin to pop up that maybe Adam and Steve might have initially met under less than perfect circumstances.
Chester and Gets, both openly gay actors, provide an authentic and appealing spin to the "boy meets boy" film genre in queer cinema. Supported by a strong cast (Posey and Kattan shine as opposites who could fall for each other), fantastic appearances from Julie Hagerty, Sally Kirkland and Jackie Beat, and a toe-tapping country western musical number, Adam & Steve delivers laugh-out-loud sight gags and witty one-liners - yet it also has just the right amount of heart to touch the romantic in all of us.

FINALLY, I'VE FOUND A COPY 'WITH' ENGLISH SUBTITLES!!!! ENJOY
You will need to download the .srt file in order for Subtitles to work. .srt file is now included in Rapidshare and Sendspace folder. Also, .srt file has to be in same folder as movie in order for subtitles to work.
German sex comedy about a straight womanizer and his tres-gay roommate.
This slick sex comedy follows the frenzied antics of Axel, a hunky, womanizing young man who, after burning all of his heterosexual bridges, moves in with Norbert, a gay man who quickly falls in (one-sided) love with his new roomie. The comedy rests on the confusion Axel creates by his friendship with Norbert and his gay friends - a perplexing situation for Axel's still interested girlfriend.
Funny and fast-moving, the gay characters are not the best drawn, but if one lower's their PC shield, it will prove to be quite enjoyable.

Save Me

When Mark (Chad Allen) - a young gay man addicted to sex and drugs - hits bottom, his concerned brother checks him into a Christian retreat in the New Mexico desert. Run by a compassionate husband and wife team, Gayle (Judith Light) and Ted have made it their life's mission to cure young men of their 'gay affliction' through spiritual guidance. But after Mark bonds with fellow resident Scott (Robert Gant) and their relationship evolves, they are forced to confront their true selves. Featuring powerful performances from Chad Allen, Robert Gant and Judith Light, this acclaimed drama is a subtly nuanced and deeply sympathetic look at both sides of one of the most polarizing religious and sexual debates in America: the conflict - and possible reconciliation - between homosexuality and Christianity.

Girls Will Be Girls

A rude, wicked, hilarious and outrageous tale of three woman (who happen to be played by men) and their collective and personal trials and tribulations within and without the Hollywood machine. Coco (Clinton Leupp - of the famous cum in the eye line in Trick) has dreams of reconnecting with the dreamy doctor that performed her first and second abortions. She's the constant recipient of verbal pummeling by her very evil, very drunk and very horny roommate Evie (Jack Plotnick of the amazing short Evie Harris, Shining Star), a delusional over-the-hill actress who will do just about anything to get back in the biz. And then there is the ravenous Varla (Jeffery Roberson aka Varla Jean Merman) who follows suit with unlikely aspirations and demons of her own. Girls will Be Girls was written and directed by Richard Day, one of the lead writers for the superb satire "The Larry Sanders Show."Girls will be Girls combines razor-sharp wit with major diva performances to produce what will surely become a queer cult classic. Every detail from the costumes and sets to the music seemed geared towards visual pleasures that only gay men may understand. Invite over a few friends, bake some brownies (or pop the corn) and be prepared for some major belly laughs.

Kiss the Bride

C. Jay Cox (Latter Days) is back with this deliciously sexy treat and guess who's back? The gorgeous Steve Sandvoss (Aaron in Latter Days) co-stars as a goofy sort-of straight guy. Matt (Karner) and Ryan (O'Shea) were best friends in high school, actually they were more than best friends, they were lovers. Matt moved out of town for college and the two buddies lost touch until 10 years later when Matt got Ryan's wedding invitation. Matt has held a fierce long-distance torch for Ryan. For the past 10 years, he’s rejected every man as unsuitable in the shadow of what he once had with Ryan. Life in L.A. was missing something for the very out Matt. Quite surprised about the invite, Matt attends the wedding with every intention of splitting up the happy couple and reclaiming Ryan for himself. That all changes when Matt meets Alex (the always wacky Tori Spelling) and he loves the bride-to-be! They bond in moments, go shopping together and the gossip begins to flow between these two new best buddies. Meanwhile Matt tries to re-kindle the spark with his beloved, but is it still there? The more he hangs out in his old town he sees how much he's missed small-town life and his high school friends and family. As the wedding day approaches rapidly, secrets are revealed and old feelings resurface.
Funny and smart, Kiss the Bride treats the issues of love, identity and sexuality the C. Jay Cox way, with a rare intelligence that recalls his now-classic Latter Days. Fans won’t want to miss this comic treat.

Three Dancing Slaves

Cast: Stéphane Rideau, Nicolas Cazalé, Thomas Dumerchez, Salim Kechiouche

The newest film from openly gay, director-writer-actor Gaël Morel (director of Full Speed, actor in Wild Reeds) Three Dancing Slaves is filled with hope amidst a violent and unpredictable world.
Told in three chapters, the film follows the lives of three handsome brothers. Lonely 22-year-old Marc idolizes his older brother Christophe, who has just been released from prison. However, Christophe's desire to lead a quiet new life is disrupted when he must become Marc's protector from a band of sadistic toughs who relish taunting the sensitive, younger sibling. The third brother, 17-year-old Olivier, doesn't even relate to anyone from his family - he has chosen to form a strong bond with Hicham, his best friend and "surrogate" brother. When a tragic event occurs, all three brothers' fragile identities and familial loyalties are put to the test, and each sibling must discover which course in life he will choose.
Visually, the film makes no qualms about idolizing the physical beauty of the brothers (the scene where all the brothers are innocently sleeping naked with each other is a stunner!) but Three Dancing Slaves also offers an intimate glimpse into the ways men communicate under extreme circumstances. Days

Claudio (Trabacchi) is a handsome, anal-compulsive, Italian banker whose life has always been one of routine. HIV-positive, he takes his daily medications, goes to the gym, checks up on his sister (Rametta), and prepares to move to Milan with his boyfriend Dario (Bechini). Always one to keep everything under control, Claudio's life changes dramatically when he connects with the irresistible Andrea (Salerno), a gorgeous blonde waiter. Claudio's memory of his previous encounter with Andrea is so potent it "stayed inside of him for days."
As these two men begin a hot and heavy affair, filled with passionate kissing and unsafe sex, Andrea admits that he has little concern about Claudio's HIV status. This unrestricted love liberates the cautious Claudio, and soon he forsakes his job, his relationship with Dario, and his meds for the new life Andrea offers him -- one that exists without fear.
Director Laura Muscardin has crafted a heartfelt and affecting character study, and she has coaxed a remarkable performance from Trabacchi. Days is an absorbing, uplifting drama about the vulnerability of life and the incredible power of love. (Italian with English subtitles)

The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green

How do you spell disaster? D-A-T-I-N-G! Eric Orner's wacky comic strip about a twentysomething gay boy on a frustrating search for love springs to life in this laugh-a-minute romantic comedy
REVIEWAdapting comic strips into live-action cinema can be a difficult transformation, but The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life Of Ethan Green succeeds where many others fail. Taking the hit underground episodic comic strip and shaping it into a feature-length plot with funny dialogue and comedic situations, the film is a real triumph for screenwriter David Vernon. But the heart of Ethan Green is the wonderfully charming cast. Nebbishly sexy David Monahan is Ethan's ex Leo, an uptight bookseller who is about to marry a pompous gay Republican played with buffoonish charm by Scott Atkinson. Ethan's saucy lesbian roommate Shanola Hampton finds love with wacko real estate agent Rebecca Lowman. All the while Ethan seeks romantic advice from his energetic mother (the criminally underused Meredith Baxter) and the wise couple of lovers known affectionately as "The Hat Sisters," played by well-known character actors Joel Brooks and Richard Riehle. But this would all mean nothing if the twentysomething Ethan weren't so damn lovable. Daniel Letterle (the straight, guitar-playing heartbreaker from Camp) captures the confusion, intelligence, tenderness and sincere goofiness of Eric Orner's creation Ethan Green.
By turns maddeningly obtuse and then downright sexy, Letterle will have you sighing with exasperation and then swooning like you had a childish crush. Kitschy and fun, Ethan Green is a sure bet for a good time - and a film that might just make your own love life actually look easy.

Under One Roof

A highly erotic and funny romantic film about two guys in love - one from a traditional Chinese-American family and the other with single California style mom.

3 REASONS TO BUY THIS FILM
A legendary soft-core romance; a truly unique film.
Comedy, romance and softcore sex with plenty of nudity -- a perfect date movie (when you want to land in bed)
Jay Wong & James Marks are an adorable pair.
REVIEWAn erotic romance about an adorable, closeted Chinese-American guy who falls in love with his mother's new tenant. Daniel (Wong) is a gay Chinese-American twenty-something who lives with his mother and grandmother in San Francisco. He is out to his friends, but certainly not to his mother, who is always trying to set him up with women. He keeps his life compartmentalized until a handsome gay man – Robert (Marks) moves in downstairs. They flirt with each other, and Robert comes onto Daniel – only to be rebuffed. Inevitably, they end up in the sack, and a tenuous relationship is formed. Their happiness is hampered by Daniel's wariness of a connection so close to home, with his meddling mom always around.
Daniel's flamboyant buddy Tony (Quedado) advises him to follow his feelings for once, but for a Chinese boy brought up in a traditional family, being gay and proud is a huge step. There are several highly erotic sex scenes with plenty of nudity (and even a stray woody or two) in a film that surprises with its sexual frankness. Todd Wilson's previous film, Rice & Potatoes, was a documentary about gay Asian/Caucasian relationships and this feature film follows his exploration, albeit from a fictional standpoint.
Immediate comparisons may arise to Ang Lee's The Wedding Banquet, but Wilson's film is less a comedy and more a romance... and certainly far more erotic. While shot on video and with a small budget, the seams seldom show. With excellent performances by the leads, plenty of eye candy and a compelling story, Under One Roof is a crowd-pleasing, sweetly romantic winner.

Vacationland

Set in Maine and inspired by his own teen years, Verow tells a story of gay lust in high school between Joe (Brad Hallowell), a (clearly autobiographical) theater geek, and his best buddy, Andrew (Gregory J. Lucas), a football star. Joe has been edging his way out of the closet for some time, but Andrew is still resolutely banging chicks. They both have girlfriends, but the charade is wearing thin. Unhappy at home, Joe moves in with an older gay man and becomes his caretaker and artist’s model. The boys continue to play hetero in public until the girlfriends decide to get these two boys to start playing with each other. The scene in which the boys first make love while the girlfriends peer around the wall is pretty damned hot. As their relationship develops, they explore the local gay scene where old issues begin to surface. Todd Verow has given us an easy to digest treat; Vacationland is a succinct tale of love between gay high school teens.

Eleven Men Out

Football (soccer in the US) star Ottar Thor’s game and life seem to be down a few points lately. Divorced from a beauty queen-turned-alcoholic and father of a teenage son, Magnus, Ottar comes out in a magazine article. When the story breaks, the soccer team’s homophobic brass elect to keep him off the field. So Ottar joins a friend’s amateur squad, which soon becomes a magnet for additional gay players. Meanwhile, Ottar starts dating (and getting action from) a fellow player, causing more grief for Magnus, who’s already taunted and teased by classmates about his fag father. Can Ottar reconcile sexuality, family, and sport by the time his new team plays his former one on Gay Pride Day?
Writer/director Robert I. Douglas takes a deadpan approach, with many laughs resulting not from wacky antics on the field, but a lack thereof when many rural teams refuse to play Ottar’s queer ilk. A sports-themed film for even those who don’t like sports, you just can’t lose betting on Eleven Men Out. (Icelandic with English subtitles)

Hellbent

Hellbent is a scary, sexy, funny thrill-ride through a wild Halloween night in West Hollywood where chiseled gay boys become the target of a sickle-wielding serial killer.

Don't watch this one alone! Hellbent is out to scare, titillate and entertain the bejesus out of you. Possibly the first gay horror/slasher movie, we find that a deranged serial killer is on the loose in West Hollywood and he's got a taste for hunky homos. It's Halloween night and, despite the news of a grisly double beheading of two guys tricking in the park, four gay friends prepare for a wild night of partying at the raucous Carnival being held nearby the crime scene. Out for a night on the town are gorgeous but insecure Eddie (newcomer Dylan Fergus) dressed as a cop; his butch cowboy hat-wearing buddy Chaz (Andrew Levitas); the young Joey (Hank Harris), scantily-clad and chained as a sex slave; and the leggy Tobey (Matt Phillips), dolled-up as a slutty big-haired gal. They wander the hunk-filled streets and sweat-drenched clubs, and Eddie meets the boy of his dreams — the sultry, motorcycling Jake (Bryan Kirkwood. They remain oblivious, however, to the lurking danger of the devilish killer stalking their every move. Oblivious, that is, until the killer’s sickle starts chopping away at them! Who lives, who gets it (and remember, characters in horror films should never have hot ‘n heavy sex — it only infuriates the sexually frustrated villain!) are slowly revealed in this vastly entertaining flick which will keep you on the edge of your seats.
With a dynamic soundtrack, a bevy of gorgeous half-naked guys, a wry humor and a knowing understanding of the horror classics like Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellbent will keep you enthralled until the last drop of blood.

Europa, Europa

NEW SENDSPACE LINKS WITH SUBTITLES BEING UPLOADED

An amazing true story of a German Jewish teen in WWII who pretends to be Aryan to escape the Nazis. The young star's penis has a major plot role so we get to see many naked and near-naked shots of the lovely and chiseled Marco Hofschneider.

3 REASONS TO DOWNLOAD THIS FILM

The very compelling story of a young German Jew who pretends to be Aryan to escape the Nazis
He does this by stretching his foreskin back in an attempt to look uncircumcised. And guess what, that means we get perfect clear shots of the young, pretty and very naked Marco Hofschneider

A brilliant mix of gut-wrenching drama and dark humor, Europa, Europa is based on the harrowing true story of Solomon Perel, a Jewish teenager who miraculously survived the war by passing himself off as Aryan; so well, in fact, that he unwittingly wound up as one of Hitler's Nazi Youth.
The film features Hofschneider, a bee-stung-lipped beauty set adrift in a historical tide of events beyond his control, desperately clinging to his identity while at the same time having to forsake it. During his ordeal, in which the enterprising youth must pose as an Ayran, he is in constant vigil not to have anyone see his "cut" penis, a sure sign of his Jewishness.

On the prurient side, we are treated to many naked and near-naked shots of the chiseled lad. There's a gay subplot too, involving an older German solder who falls in love with Solomon although he sees that he is Jewish. The gay soldier keeps the secret to his death. The Gay Deceivers

What has time done to this low-budget '60s comedy about two "perfectly normal" guys who try to evade the draft by posing as homosexual lovers? Is it offensively homophobic drivel or simply a frequently hilarious, naively camp curiosity? Filmed in a contemporary sitcom style, the film's funniest scenes come when our hapless heroes, under investigation by a suspicious Army recruiter, must move in to a gay bungalow complex, populated by the most outrageous gay stereotypes this side of Fairyland. Michael Greer adds both a campy humor and surprising gay dignity as he steals the show as Malcolm, the boys' gay landlord. If you mind swishy, lisping, prancing, mincing "fags" and the jokes that come with them, avoid this at all costs. For others, this anachronistic sex comedy will provide some laughs and an appreciation of how much things have changed in 40 years.

Dog Tags

Abandoned by his father and raised by his single mother, Debbie, Nate Merritt joins the Marines to support his soon-to-be fiancée, Trish. While on leave in Palm Springs he meets Andy, a magnetic, seemingly free-spirited young gay man with dreams of escaping to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. Though the bond between the two men is initially platonic, the nature of their relationship unavoidably shifts into something physical and intimate as they tread the risky waters of vulnerability and introspection. Unexpectedly, by delving deeply within himself, Nate also uncovers the identity of the father he never knew. With this brave cinematic work, director Damion Dietz (Beverly Kills) demonstrates tremendous ambition and craftsmanship, focusing on the emotional terrain of family loyalty and the weight of finding yourself in the world. Anchored by deft and powerful performances from a dedicated cast that includes Candy Clark (American Graffiti) and newcomer Paul Preiss as the introspective marine, Dietz has cultivated one of the warmest and most stirring gay dramas to come around in years.

Billy Elliot

An extraordinary film about the power of the human soul, with a riveting performance by newcomer Jamie BellStephen Daldry's smashing debut film is about an eleven-year old boy who knows what he wants out of life already; he wants to be a ballet dancer. The only problem with Billy's dream is that he lives in conservative Northern Great Britain with his widowed dad, brother and grandma. This tight-knit family is part of three year bitter and sometimes violent coal mine strike. His family is decidedly working class, and dancing is not a suitable activity for a boy, boxing is more like it. Certainly not a an atmosphere conducive to a ballet dancing boy! Julie Waters (Educating Rita) plays a pivotal role as Billy's dance teacher, a woman determined to rip the adorable and somewhat wild Billy from his pre-ordained path to work in the mines like his dad and brother. Billy's best friend Michael is a sissy-boy who loves to dress up in his mom's clothes, which shocks poor Billy. Both Michael and Debbie (his dance teacher's daughter) come onto Billy and he's not responsive to either. Billy's sexuality is never given away in the film, he could be gay, he could be straight, that's not what the story is about. This beautiful sentimental film tells a story like the classic children's book, The Little Train that Could; a child's dreams can come true if you if work at it. Even a far fetched dream like a coal-miner's son becoming a ballet dancer.
